INDIVUMED provides Aventis access to unique medical research resources
August 9, 2004 – INDIVUMED has entered a research material agreement with Aventis Pharma, a global leader in medical research. Under this agreement, Aventis Pharma will have access to Indivumed's unique Integrated Analytical Platform (IAP). The IAP combines standardized preparations of clinical samples with a comprehensive database containing clinical as well as sample information. The extensive amount of data linked with high quality and standardized biospecimen enables Aventis to accelerate its research program and to obtain clinically relevant experimental data. INDIVUMED has found a strong partner to achieve its goal of supporting the development of individualized medicine.

INDIVUMED Inc., the US-daughter of INDIVUMED GmbH, has been founded.
INDIVUMED has opened its US-branch in Silver Spring, MD in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. The office will allow US customers to directly contact INDIVUMED during the normal work day and give INDIVUMED a better opportunity to support its customers in North America.

moves into its new research building at the Israelitisches
Krankenhaus
On October 29, 2003, 400 guests celebrated the opening
of INDIVUMED’s new research building on the campus of
the Israelitisches Krankenhaus in Hamburg. Clinical
documentation, high quality tissue banking, and research have
been efficiently combined under one roof. Previously decentralized
facilities are now located in one of the most modern, biotechnology
research centers in the Hamburg metropolitan area. The central
location, only a short distances from oncological hospital
partners and the University Clinic of Hamburg, places INDIVUMED
in the heart of Hamburg’s prospering innovative medicine
and life science region.

INDIVUMED and EXACT Sciences enter
pioneering research material agreement for colon cancer program
Hamburg, Germany — July 10th, 2003 - INDIVUMED GmbH, Center for Cancer Research at the Israelitisches Krankenhaus
in Hamburg, has entered a unique materials supply agreement
with EXACT Sciences Corporation, a global leader in applying
advances in the field of genomics to facilitate early detection
of cancer. Under this agreement, EXACT Sciences will have
access to INDIVUMED’s unique human tissue/fluid and data
bank for its colon cancer research program.

wins competition for best start-up in Hamburg
INDIVUMED
received the prize at an official ceremony on April 2, 2003,
in the presence of Ole von Beust, mayor and governor of Hamburg.
In his remarks, Dr. K. J. Dreyer, President of the Chamber
of Commerce of Hamburg, named INDIVUMED the “pearl of
Hamburg’s life science region.”

Collaboration
with the Diakoniekrankenhaus Alten Eichen
In
February 2003, INDIVUMED began collaborating with the Diakoniekrankenhaus
Alten Eichen, a leading oncological center in Hamburg
for the treatment of colon cancer. This collaboration doubles
the number of surgical colon cancer patients participating
in INDIVUMED’s tissue and fluid collection program. This
collaboration increases the size and quality of INDIVUMED’s
tissue and data bank and improves its ability to support development
of new treatment modalities.

Cancer Research Center Debut
Over 500 guests, including Governor Ole von Beust, attended
a celebration in honor of INDIVUMED’s successfull collaboration
with the Israelitisches Krankenhaus in developing a
new Cancer Research Center in Hamburg.
