and EXACT Sciences enter pioneering research material agreement
for colon cancer program
Hamburg,
Germany — July 10th, 2003 - INDIVUMED GmbH,
Center for Cancer Research at the Israelitisches Krankenhaus
in Hamburg, has entered a unique materials supply agreement
with EXACT Sciences Corporation, a global leader in applying
advances in the field of genomics to facilitate early detection
of cancer. Under this agreement, EXACT Sciences will have
access to INDIVUMED’s unique human tissue/fluid and data
bank for its colon cancer research program.

the efficient development of new human diagnostics, excellent
clinical samples together with comprehensive clinical data
are prerequisite. Access to INDIVUMED’s clinical sample
and data bank will be important to our ability to discover
novel methods and tools to detect colon cancer,” said
