Setting the gold standard for multi-omics cancer data

Procuring high-end cancer data is a skill we have been perfecting for decades.

Clinical PartnersThe Indivumed Global Clinical Network

Through the Indivumed Global Clinical Network, we utilize a highly standardized collection process for biospecimens and patient information with a wide variety of backgrounds. Fundamentals that are crucial to the creation of our signature high-quality clinical and multi-omics data and essential to making all relevant details of a cancer disease transparent.

Cancers are as individual as the people they affect. That’s why our work starts with individual patients around the world.

Covering biological diversity from various regional backgrounds

The collection of tumor samples from patients of diverse ethnic, social, cultural, and health backgrounds is essential for cancer research. Genetic and environmental factors vary across continents and population groups, influencing cancer susceptibility, disease progression, and treatment response. Our clinical network includes hospitals and leading oncology institutes on three continents. With clinical partners in such diverse locations around the globe, we ensure that our comprehensive cancer database covers a wide range of backgrounds.

Global clinical standard Standardization and comparability across clinics and continents

Gaining comparable and thus meaningful insights into the biology of cancer is only possible if the collection process for samples and clinical data is highly standardized. To ensure consistently high quality and comparability, our global clinical partners adhere to a carefully designed set of standard operating procedures (SOPs). These procedures have been developed in collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists within our network and are performed by trained personnel on-site, as part of the clinic team and close to the patient. They ensure that tissue samples are stabilized within twelve minutes or less – an important factor to maintain molecular expression profiles.

The Indivumed Omics HubThe clinical portal for multi-omics-based oncology research

To support and foster our clinical partners’ passion for oncology research, we have created the Indivumed Omics Hub as an exclusive interface for members of the Indivumed Global Clinical Network. Clinical researchers can use the portal to access curated multi-omics data derived from tumor tissue samples of their patients. Three distinct applications provide different ways to access the data quickly and efficiently.

The Profiler App

Allows the evaluation of individual patient data in comparison with a background cohort

The Explorer App

Gives a rapid overview of specific multi-omics profiles on selected genes of interest

The Analyzer App

Provides deep insight into comprehensive multi-omics data from defined patient cohorts

Advantages of using the Omics Hub

Efficient

Intuitive apps help clinicians investigate their patients’ data more productively. Reports can be exported in various formats.

Complete

Comprehensive multi-omics patient, clinical, and cohort datasets help researchers to identify signatures and markers.

Exclusive

The Omics Hub has been specifically developed to support Indivumed’s clinical partners all over the world.

“The Omics Hub provides fast results and very deep analysis. Combining data from different hospitals gives us great statistical value.”

Dr. Gerry Melino Director, Tor Vergata Center of Excellence

PublicationsScientific publications powered by Omics Hub

The patient-specific case studies listed below are derived from the Indivumed Omics Hub and have been copublished with the respective clinics. They showcase unique patient journeys, detailing treatment approaches and challenges faced, providing valuable insights into personalized treatments and disease understanding.
